LET YOUR SOL SHINE

Sol Maven hosts intimate and bespoke getaways designed for women in the high-desert of New Mexico and reaching out to the great Southwest. Through our Workshops offered virtually through Kindred Sol, and Weekend Getaways like Holiday Rehab for Mamas and Wild Woman Summer Camp, we invite women to take the opportunity to rest, recharge and reconnect to their true selves. We are also excited to now be offering Breathwork sessions for a deeper dive into that reconnection.

Sol Maven was designed with the belief that in order to create positive change in your family, community, and the world at large- you have to first create change within yourself. We have a dream- that all women be given the permission to take a pause from their hectic lives and the opportunity to reestablish a connection with their most authentic self.

Jessie Baca, Owner and SOL Mama

Jessie, a California native, resides in Santa Fe with her son, Jay and daughter, Rye.  Her love for curating experiences and memorable wedding weekends for her clients has sustained her event-design business for the last 16 years. As a single-mom, juggling a full-time business and on the brink of burnout, she found herself wanting to bring something a little more meaningful to her personal work; this came in the form of supporting moms like herself who also sustain one-million tasks throughout the day. The idea of catering to women and giving them permission to take care of themselves without guilt was sparked.

With a dedication to wellness, the preventative medicine of self-care and slowing down, she is driven to create a space for women (moms and non-moms) to step away from the buzz and constant call of daily life. She wants to share the magic of the New Mexican desert as it is a place where she is able to connect to source and find solace. Here, women can re-boot and turn inward to refill any depletions. By taking a cue from the “oxygen mask theory,” they will take care of them selves first, so in turn they can contribute to their communities and return to life refreshed.
